Completely surrounded by National Forest, Big Bear Lake is located in the San Bernardino Mountains at around 7000 feet above sea level where all of our big bear cabin rentals are. It is one of Southern California's most popular vacation destinations with fun activities for every season of the year. Even though we have a local airport, you will most likely get to Big Bear driving through one of our scenic roads up the mountain.
