The Big Bear Valley is a small mountain community near San Bernardino, high above the smog, at an elevation of 6750 feet with an estimated population of about 12,000 residents.
From Los Angeles and Orange Counties:
Interstate 10 East to the Running Springs Highway 30 exit in Redlands. Follow Highway 30 to Highway 330 to Highway 18.
Alternative route from Interstate 10:
Interstate 10 East to Orange Street (Highway 38) exit in Redlands. Follow Highway 38 North to Big Bear.
From San Diego County:
Interstate 15 North to Interstate 10 East and follow above directions.
From Palm Springs:
Interstate 10 West and follow above directions.
From the High Desert:
Interstate 15 to Victorville. Exit at Bear Valley Road then East to Lucerne Valley. Turn Right on Highway 18.
From Las Vegas:
Interstate 15 South to Barstow. Take the 247-Big Bear exit to Lucerne Valley. Turn Left on Highway 18.
