From the decks of Whispering Heights the world seems to come alive. Your senses are barraged by the crisp cool of winter air, the brilliant sparkle of a mid-day sun as it bounces off the white of the snow and the awkwardly exhilarating sounds of pure silence as you stand there taking it all in.
It’s one of the most exciting moments of the year here in Big Bear. Several times during the season the mountain is blanketed in ribbons of fluffy snow that do nothing if not glimmer incessantly and lull you into diving in and making a snow angel.
The eight of you have come to Whispering Heights to laugh, play and rest. It’s a weekend that you have been eagerly awaiting since you booked this cabin a few weeks back and now you are finally here. The first order of business, after unpacking, is to build the biggest and best snowman that was ever brought to life. The giggling is contagious as you thank your lucky stars for digital cameras that no longer have you running to Rite-Aid for more film!
Tonight it’s mugs of Hot Buttered Rum and appetizers consisting of exotic cheeses and winter fruits while the chef of the group assembles a special treat for dinner. Whispering Heights is an incredible place to ride out the storm or at least pray for one! Come and make a memory.
